| Character Education / Life Skills Workshop |
This 90-minute workshop is packed with powerful discussions
on the skills and knowledge that young people will need to
succeed in school as well as life. Throughout the Camp of
Champs Workshop students will read, discuss, and write about
life skills that will make an immediate difference in their young
lives. The “Playbook” is composed of short stories about
ordinary people who accomplished extraordinary things as well
as a story about the real-life consequences of making bad
choices.
The Workshop is all about helping young people understand that
what they do today will have a lot to do with where they end up
later in life. All students in attendance work their way through
the Camp of Champs “Playbook”, which gives them an
opportunity to read, write, and share their thoughts orally.
