The Camp of Champs Character Education / Life Skills Program is the brainchild of two very successful former student-athletes who have chosen to share their valuable experiences with young people across the country. Their efforts to impart life skills through the medium of basketball have received rave reviews from students, educators, and program directors from all walks of life.

Lea Henry - Camp of Champs Co-Founder
Goal setting, hard work, strong values, and good citizenship
took Lea Henry from a tiny town in South Georgia to the
incredible accomplishment of Olympic Gold! As an Academic
All-American basketball star at the University of Tennessee, Lea
developed a passion for helping young people, leading her to
complete a master's degree in education. She has spent the past
twenty years coaching, teaching, and motivating young people.
Lea's unique ability to impart life skills has enabled her to
effectively share her strategy for success with thousands of
students.
Greg Manning - Camp of Champs Co-Founder
Camp of Champs Co-Founder Greg Manning is a former
University of Maryland basketball standout. At Maryland,
Greg started four years at guard for the Terrapins, where he
served as team captain, achieved Academic All-Conference
honors, and was named as an Atlantic Coast Conference
Basketball Legend. At the end of his college playing career, he
was drafted by the Denver Nuggets of the NBA. Greg shares
Lea Henry's vision to motivate young people through setting
goals, committing to hard work, valuing education and making
good choices. Greg has worked for twenty years teaching and
inspiring young people as a collegiate athletic administrator,
radio/television personality, and motivational speaker.
Lea Henry and Greg Manning are supported by a highly-trained staff, enabling them to maintain an effective student to instructor ratio.
